Altaf Bukhari grieved over demise of prominent social activist Abdul Hameed Ganaie

SRINAGAR, August 26: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of prominent social activist Abdul Hameed Ganaie who passed away yesterday evening at his residence in Hakim Bagh Rawalpora.

In his condolence message issued here, Bukhari described the deceased as a righteous soul who throughout his life raised and tried to address the issues faced by the locals in his area. “I pray for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to his bereaved family to bear this huge loss. At this difficult time, Apni Party stands in solidarity with the bereaved family especially Mr. Saleem Ganaie, son of the deceased,” Bukhari remarked.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Ashraf Dar SMC Corporator Rawalpora, Aijaz Ahmad Rather Party Zone President Amirakadal, Nazir Ahmad Dar, Party’s Ward President Rawalpora and the Party’s ward members of Rawalpora have expressed profound grief over the demise of Abdul Hameed Ganaie. “We express solidarity with the bereaved family and pray for the peace to the departed soul,” they added.

Apni Party Provincial President Kashmir Khalid Rathore has also expressed condolences on the demise of Abdul Hameed Ganaie. Rathore expressed solidarity with the bereaved family especially Saleem Ganaie and prayed for courage to the bereaved to bear this irreparable loss.
