Amid winter vacation, few Pvt schools coerce students to attend classes in Anantnag

Srinagar, Dec 18 : Despite winter break, some private schools in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district are violating the government order by forcing the students to report at such centers.

It also said that besides private schools, some coaching centers were also operating unauthorizedly.

“It has come to the notice of CEO Anantnag that some private schools are involved in tuition despite winter break and are forcing the students to report such centers,” it reads.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the Anantnag CEO further said that some coaching centers were also functioning without proper approval and registration.

“Before action as warranted under rules is initiated against them, the management of these schools and tuition centers are put on strict instructions to desist from this activity henceforth,” it reads.

The CEO further said that the Zonal level monitoring committees constituted for the purpose of monitoring are also put under strict instructions to maintain strict vigil over the violators and prompt reporting to this office thereof—(KNO)
