Ananthnag sees hope as first COVID-19 victim tested negative

Srinagar, May 02 : As the valley fights the spread of COVID-19, South Kashmir’s Ananthnag district witnessed first recovery of infected person on Saturday.

An official told Kashmir Despatch, Good news finally from Ananthnag as first COVID-19 victim tested Negative on Saturday. He said a person from Nowgam Shangus today became the first in the district who recover from this deadly virus as his reports came negative. The official further said patient will continue to stay in the hospital till he completes his quarantine period and recover fully.

Meanwhile, The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in the district stands at 99.

Total four new cases added in the list sofar in which two minor boys and two old aged persons..

As per the data there are now 643 positive cases of COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir.
