Another jolt to PDP, 3 leaders resign

SRINAGAR, Oct 26 : Another jolt to people’s democratic party (PDP ) as three leaders on Monday announced to quit the party.
Sources told Kashmir Despatch that three PDP leaders TS Bajwa, Ved Mahajan, and Hussain A Waffa sent resignation letters to party chief Ms. Mufti, over her remarks on tricolor.
The leaders, in their letter, said they were “feeling quite uncomfortable over some of her actions and undesirable utterances especially which hurt patriotic sentiments”.
Pertinently, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti last week had said that she will not hoist the tricolour till the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir is restored and the J-K flag is hoisted.
