Addresses maiden meeting of party workers in Bandipora
SRINAGAR, September 13: Apni Party vice president Usman Majid on Sunday observed that his party is committed to work for holistic development in Jammu and Kashmir. He said the people need to judge the political parties on the basis of their performance and not on political rhetoric.

Addressing the maiden meeting of party workers at Bandipora, Majid said that from day one since the formation of the party, Apni Party leadership was of the firm opinion not to sell dreams and instead work for a tangible change on the ground.
Besides prominent workers, the meeting was attended by various BDC members and a number of Panchayat representatives from across the Bandipora district.
“Let me reiterate this commitment today. Apni Party has pledged not to show stars and the moon to the people. Ours’ is a very practical agenda which revolves around the socio-economic and political empowerment of the people,” Apni Party vice president remarked.

He said that people in J&K have never been told the truth which has resulted in the prevailing political instability. “We in the Apni Party dare to call spade a spade and we will never shy away from telling you the truth, no matter how bitter it is,” he added.
Majid also highlighted various developmental projects in Bandipora which need to be completed in a time bound manner. He urged the government for formulation of a comprehensive developmental plan for Bandipora district so that the suffering of its inhabitants is mitigated at an earliest.
