The armies of India and Pakistan on Tuesday exchanged fire along the Line of Control in Shahpur and Kirni sectors of district of Poonch Jammu division.
An official said that the Pakistan army opened by small arms along LoC in Shahpur and Kirni sectors of Poonch district.
“The soldiers manning the fence also responded the fire strongly,” he said.
However, there were no immediate reports of any damage from either side.
