Baramulla, July 25 : The Indian Army, in collaboration with Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS), renowned as Jaipur Foot, has successfully concluded an Artificial Limb Fitment Camp under Operation Sadbhavna in Baramulla. This initiative aimed to enhance the mobility and quality of life for the residents of Baramulla district.
The camp provided artificial limb fitments to 204 individuals, facilitated by a team of specialist doctors and medical professionals who ensured personalized care and precision. Each recipient underwent comprehensive medical assessments to confirm the suitability of the fitments and to offer any necessary additional medical guidance.
Operation Sadbhavna, an Indian Army initiative, is dedicated to fostering goodwill and enhancing the quality of life for local communities through humanitarian projects. The collaboration with BMVSS brought in the required expertise and experience in prosthetics and rehabilitation, ensuring the camp’s success.
This camp underscores the Indian Army’s commitment to the welfare of the local community. The Indian Army also facilitated transportation for individuals from remote areas of Baramulla to Dagger Parivaar School, ensuring their participation in the camp.
