Srinagar, September 12: Army Commander Northern Command Lt Gen Pratik Sharma has conducted a high-level review of the counter-terrorism grid in South Kashmir, taking a detailed assessment of the prevailing security situation, operational preparedness and the readiness of forces deployed across the region.
The review came amid continued efforts by security forces to maintain a tight and uncompromising counter-terrorism posture in South Kashmir, with the Army Commander stressing that vigilance and preparedness must remain at the highest level to meet emerging security challenges.
