SRINAGAR: Under the aegis of HQ 8 Sect RR, 28 RR conducted a Job fair event was held for youths of Lolab valley at Gujjarpatti.
The event was chaired by Col Raj Kumar Mahajan, CO 28 RR and was attended by the civil populace of lolab valley. During the job fair event as many as 9 boys were given job offers by various agencies and will be placed all across the Kashmir valley in various sectors such as Hotel Industry, Petroleum and Tourism Industry.
The event was made successful with the efforts of Initiative for Peace and Development NGO. The families of the youth getting the jobs thanked the army and praised the efforts of 28 RR in helping their wards getting another chance to lead a better life.
The Sarpanches and other dignitaries attending the event highly appreciated the initiative and requested for such events to be conducted frequently.
