Sopore: In an endeavour to bring a change among the youth and for the sustainable peace in the area, the Army in Sopore has joined hands with youth under the slogan of Naya Kashmir.
Sources told Kashmir Despatch, Army’s 22 RR from last two months have organized several events in Sopore bringing youth of the area close to the Army by providing them a platform of development and opportunity.
A senior Army official while talking to Kashmir Despatch said, “Army has always been at the forefront and with Kashmir witnessing an overall development, it is our duty to bring youth and children who are the future of India together and work with them.”
“We received huge response in our programs as parents have shown trust on us which is a good sign, and the army will continue in doing it in near future as well,” he added.
“It is a new adventure for us as Army is breaking the barrier in Sopore which is a need of an hour”, said one of the youth in Sopore.
He added, “Parents should allow their children to participate in such programs as it will bring a new chapter in everyone’s life”.
