January 12 : An Army soldier allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle inside the camp in south Kashmir’s Kulgam on Saturday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that an army man of 34 RR , posted at Kulgam, shot himself while on duty in the wee hours. He was rushed to a military hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The deceased soldier identified as Abisheg Kumar NO 15728625 of 34RR camp Behibagh.
Meanwhile police took cognizance of this incident.
