An army man died while another was injured in a fire incident in Cheerkoot area of Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday morning.
Reports said a soldier of 8 Sector died while another was injured, when their vehicle caught fire due to short circuit.
“The duo was taken to nearby army hospital, where one of them was declared brought dead while the condition of the other is stated to be stable,” reports added.
Dy SP, Lolab Shahzad Ahmad confirmed the incident and said investigation in the matter has been taken up. (KNS)
