Army porter killed in Uri cross border shelling

Uri, July 29 : An army porter was killed in a cross border shelling in Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that an army porter on Wednesday was killed in cross border shelling at Lachipora in Uri sector.

Official said earleir in the day Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceaefire along LOC at Lachipora in Uri sector. The fire was retailated effectively by this side of army.

However, in the cross border shelling a porter was killed.

A police officer also confirmed about the killing of army porter to Kashmir Despatch. Officer said we are confirming more details about this incident.
