Army porter slips, dies in Machil Kupwara

Kupwara, Sept 19 : A porter slipped and died at Ring Bala Machil in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, official sources told on Saturday.

They said the porter namely Mohammad Rafiq Shah son of Abdullah Shah of Ring Bala Machil slipped during intervening night of September 18 and 19 and died on the spot.

The body of the porter, they said, was taken by 45 RR to district hospital Handwara for postmortem. (GNS)
