FIR registered, investigation on : SSP Bandipora

Bandipora, Feb 16 : People’s Democratic Party President and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday said that three soldiers allegedly tried to abduct and molest a minor girl in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
In a tweet she said, locals in Bandipora have alleged that 3 army men tried to abduct & molest a 9 year old girl.Her family is now being pressurised to withdraw the FIR.Its a complete travesty of justice & an impartial probe must be set up immediately so that they are given the harshest punishment.
Meanwhile, SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik told Kashmir Despatch over the phone that FIR in this regard has already registered and further investigation has been set into motion.
