Baramulla : In a noble initiative, Army on Tuesday said that an artificial limb camp will be organsied in north Kashmir’s Baramulla town.
As per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, This camp will be organised by Indian Army in association with Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayta Samiti (BMVSS) at Chinar 9 Jawan Club, Baramulla from 11-13 Oct 2022.
During this artificial limb camp the specially abled people will get a new ray of hope, where an expert panel of prosthetists from BMVSS will be present to ensure best suited fitment of limbs and calipers.
The measurements will be taken during the camp as per the requirements of the beneficiaries.
In addition, equipment and accessories like Auxiliary Crutches, Wheel Chairs, Polio Calipers and Hearing Aids will also be distributed free of cost.
Meanwhile an official told Kashmir Despatch that this Artificial Limb Camp will be a noble initiative by the Indian Army for the local villagers, those who could not afford fitment of limbs or orthopedic equipment.
This thoughtful camp will indeed brought smiles into several lives, and will shown a glimmer of hope to many more of the region for whom expensive treatment is only a dream due to the prohibitive costs involved.
