As 3-Day G20 Summit Ends In Srinagar, Delegates Left Mesmerized by Kashmir’s Beauty, Hospitality

Srinagar, May 24 : The delegates of the G20 summit were left captivated by the breathtaking beauty and warm hospitality of Kashmir during their sightseeing tour on the third day of the G20 Summit in Srinagar on Wednesday.  

Amidst diplomatic discussions, the foreign representatives took time to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage and natural wonders of the region.

Officials told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that today their visit began with an exploration of the iconic Mughal Gardens, where the delegates were greeted by a symphony of vibrant flowers and meticulously manicured landscapes. 

Walking through the terraced gardens, the delegates, donned in Kashmiri traditional attire, marveled at the architectural magnificence and serene ambiance, soaking in the timeless charm of the historic gardens.

Continuing their sightseeing, the delegates proceeded to the recently refurbished Polo View market, a bustling hub of traditional craftsmanship and modern shopping delights. 

They strolled through the vibrant market, indulging in local handicrafts, exquisite jewelry, and traditional Kashmiri attire. 

The delegates were enchanted by the amalgamation of old-world charm and contemporary offerings, providing them with a glimpse into the region’s rich cultural tapestry.

Earlier, in the day the G20 delegates enjoyed a leisurely round of golf at the prestigious Royal Spring Golf Course, which offered them a resplendent view of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. 

Surrounded by lush greenery and pristine landscapes, the golf course provided a perfect retreat for the delegates to relax and engage in friendly competition, further strengthening the bonds between nations.

Throughout their visit, the delegates were overwhelmed by the genuine warmth and hospitality extended to them by the people of Kashmir. 

The locals, known for their legendary hospitality, left no stone unturned in ensuring the delegates felt welcome and cherished.
