Assault on pharmacist: Health employees association submit memorandum to DC Bandipora

Bandipora, Jan 22 : The employees association of health department Bandipora on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Bandipora against BMO for assaulting their senior colleague in his office chamber yesterday.

According to wire service- the health employees association Bandipora submitted the memorandum today seeking action against the BMO for assaulting their colleague.

They have sought stern action and transfer of Dr. Ashfaq BMO Banidpora for assaulting and misbehaving with their senior colleague Iqbal Hamid in his office chamber yesterday.

“With humble submission we the paramedical staff of district Bandipora approached your goodself to convey that all the employees of health department Bandipora have divided not to work under the administrative control of Dr. Ashfaq, BMO Bandipora as your goodself knows the situation better made by the said officer, ” reads the memorandum submitted by the association to DC Bandipora.

They have demanded the transfer of BMO from the block to “avoid such incident in the future”. 

In the memorandum, the association have alleged that the behaviour of the BMO is ill toward the subordinate staff. They have also alleged that the BMO demands bribe before signing the salary advices and other official documents.

” We have approved the chief medical officer Bandipora several times regarding the issue but he has turned deaf ears towards our genuine complaints, ” reads the memorandum.

The memorandum further reads that they have already filed a complaint in police station Bandipora against the BMO for physically assaulting their senior colleague yesterday.

“In view of the above facts we hope that an early action may be initiated against the officer to save the dignity of the health department Bandipora, ” the memorandum further reads.

The BMO Bandipora had assaulted a pharmacist yesterday in his office chamber for coming late to the office. The BMO had allegedly assaulted the pharmacist by hurling a stool toward him, resulting in injuries to the pharmacist wo was later shifted to DH Bandiproa for treatment.

The health employees association had staged a protest demonstration seeking action against the BMO for his behavior. (KNO)
