Bandipora, August 21 : Ahead of the much-anticipated Assembly Elections in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, for which dates were recently announced after a long gap of ten years, however, all is not well within the BJP unit in the north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Sources close to the party informed Kashmir Despatch that some shocking reports are coming from the party unit, in which BJP Mahila Morcha (Women’s Wing) Nahida Qamar has alleged that the BJP district president has humiliated and abused her.
Confirming this news, BJP Mahila Morcha Nahida Qamar, while talking to Kashmir Despatch, said that during a phone call on the night of 20th August, the district president had humiliated and abused her.
Nahida said that regarding this incident, she had also filed a complaint at the police station, and she is fully confident that the police will not leave any stone unturned in this matter.
Nahida further told Kashmir Despatch that she is fully confident that the party’s top leadership will take action in this matter.
When Kashmir Despatch tried to contact the BJP district president Naseer Ahmad to confirm all these allegations, he said that at this moment, he will not say anything about this case, however, he will address the entire media through a press conference regarding this matter.
