Authorities seal medical shop, ask police to investigate story behind alleged ‘fake’ doctor

Anantnag, Jan 23 : Amid snowfall, authorities sealed a pharmaceutical shop after the complaints that the doctor practicing in the shop possess fake and forged certificates.

Local sources said that Naib Tehsidar Larnoo area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district sealed a medical shop for allegedly availing the service of a ‘fake’ doctor.

The medical shop belongs to a resident (name withheld) of Larnoo area.

Local sources said the Naib Tehsildar also asked police to get the alleged ‘fake’ doctor (name withheld) of Pethbugh Dialgam arrested and investigated.

Confirming the incident, a top official said they had received multiple complaints about the medical shop and the ‘fake’ doctor practicing there. “We have sealed the shop so for and asked police to ascertain the facts,” he said reported KNT.
