Awantipora, Jul 11 : Under Civic Action Programme, Awantipora police organised a Talent Hunt Programme “Choona Hai Asmaan” today at Police Line Awantipora in which various students of various educational institutions of Police District Awantipora participated.
ADC Awantipora Shabir Ahmad Raina -KAS and SSP Awantipora Tahir Saleem -JKPS welcomed the students who performed and the civilians of the Awantipora and its adjacent areas who witnessed the programme with great enthusiasm and thank them for sparing their valuable time in making the event successful.
The students of different age groups presented various folk songs, folk dances and folk gazals. Three students each from the age group of 5-12 years, 13-18 years and 19-25 years were selected for range level competition.
Trophies and Cash Awards were given to all the performers for their splendid performance.
Participants and general public were served with snacks and lunch on culmination of the programme.
By means of CAPs J&K Police is committed to have friendly relationships with general public and have close association with the society. The aim of such events is to provide platform to the talented youth.
