The government program of back to village first and second in which people were told that for the purpose of works in the village an officer has been set forth for this task. In this back to village program first and second people got very hopeful and happy and participated in large numbers. A promise was given to people that all of your work will be done, however, the result of this promise was zero. Although even if any department did fulfill the promise it was only Rural development Department, for which I am thankful to ACD Baramulla and BDO Baramulla who at least could feel the pain and fullfill the promise of people. Now the back to village 3rd has started but people don’t have any hope left as they saw the results of last two programmes. Now people only consider this program limited to taking photos and paperwork while ground level conditions are totally different this has negatively affected the image of panchs and sarpanchs, if they have any respect and trust left in their respective areas it is only because of Rural development department. This proves that district adminstration and government organizes these programmes to hide their limitations they gather crowd in the name of such programmes to showcase their success, now the public after seeing the results of last two programmes naturally wont trust any so called back to village 3rd. Now, we request the government and district adminstration that if the promises are not fullfilled in the third phase of this programme the public may come on roads to protest and any law and order problem will be on the shoulders of district adminstration and government.
