Srinagar, August 03: An unidentified militant has been killed in a gunfight in Chandaji area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday.
The Kashmir Police Zone on its official Twitter handle wrote, ” 01 unidentified militant killed. Search going on. Further details shall follow,”.
Earlier, a joint by a team of Police, Army and CRPF launched cordon and search operation in the area. As the joint team intensified the search operation, the hiding militants fired upon them, triggering off an encounter.(GNS)
