Bandipora, Nov 05: A militant has been killed in an encounter in the Bandipora district, while two security personnel have also sustained injuries in the Ketson area of North Kashmir.
According to official sources, two security force personnel, including an Army soldier and a CRPF trooper, have been injured, while one militant has been killed in the ongoing gunfight in Bandipora.
A search operation is currently underway in the area.
Meanwhile, the Indian Army’s Chinar Corps tweeted on X, “OP KAITSAN, #Bandipora. Based on specific intelligence regarding the presence of militants in the general area of Kaitsan forest, a joint operation was launched by the #IndianArmy, @JmuKmrPolice, and @crpf_srinagar in the general area of Chuntawadi Kaitsan, #Bandipora.
