Throughout the year, the Baramulla Police have filed a total of 264 cases under the NDPS Act, leading to the arrest of 464 drug peddlers. To further discourage drug peddling, the police have attached properties of drug peddlers worth Rs. 3 crores, including three houses, three vehicles, and cash amounting to Rs. 1.2 crores.
