Baramulla students leave for CRPF sponsored “Bharat Darshan Tour”

Baramulla : continuing with its Civic Action Programme especially formed for underprivileged youth residing in far of hilly areas of Baramulla District, 53 Battalion CRPF organized a “Bharat Darshan” tour for students.

02 Sh. GM Lone, chief education officer, Baramulla, Sh. Megh Raj Commandant, 53 Bn, CRPF and Sh. Rakesh Parihar, SP (operations) Baramulla flagged off 23 children drawn from different villages of Baramulla for “Bharat Darshan” tour.

03 The tour was flagged off in an impressive ceremony organized in the Battalion Headquarters at DPL Baramulla in the presence of officers from Police, CRPF and Education Department .

04 Sh. Prem Pratap Singh, 2nd-in Command, 53 Bn CRPF gave brief over view about the 6 days long tour programme which is being covered between 07/05/2022 to 12/05/2022. Total 27 participants are going for the trip which encludes 23 students across the Baramulla District from 14 different high schools of the region accompanied by 2 Education Deportment officers and 2 CRPF officers tour will cover KMC Dargah, Taragarh Fort, Faysagar lake in Ajmer and Tajmahal, Fatehpur Sikari and Buland Darwaja in UP, and prominent tourist attractions in Delhi.

05 Sh GM Lone Chief Education Officer briefed students to view the life at broader perspective and see the World outside which have immense opportunities to grow. He also expressed gratitude to CRPF for organising the tour and enabling down trodden boys to fly by Air and see the world outside.

06 Speaking on the occasion Sh. Megh Raj Commandant, 53 Bn, CRPF said the tour is being organized under Civic Action Programme of the CRPF. He said during the tour, the students will visit famous tourist and historical places of Delhi, Ajmer and Agra. He said during the tour, the children will also get opportunity to visit Malls, Industrial areas and other epitomes of economical advancements. He also told that the young children will be made aware or the arts, culture and climate of mainland.

07 Sh. Balbir Singh Raina, Dy. CEO, Baramulla , Sh. Dr Peerzoda Azaz Ahmed, DSP (DAR) Baramulla, Sh. Naveen Jha, AC, Sh Saroj Jha, Sh. Parveen Kumar AC, and Sh, Manish Shukla were also present in the programme.
