Baramulla Truck carrying poultry birds without valid bills siezed in Lower Munda

Srinagar, May 19 : A truck carrying poultry birds without valid bills was siezed by enforcement squard at Lower Munda in South Kashmir’s Qazigund on Tuesday.

An official told Kashmir Despatch, during a special drive of the enforcement squard of the department in Qazigund area of South Kashmir a vehicle bearing registration number HR 58 7203 carrying 1350 poultry birds was intercepted at Check Post Lower Munda Qazigund and while verification it was found that the driver was not possessing valid bills.

The officer said after the verification the driver was identified as Baramulla resident.

He said a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been initiated.

Director FCS&CA Kashmir Bashir Ahmad told Kashmir Despatch, that this is a routine work of enforcement squard to stop black marketing in Kashmir Division, he said it could be from every district Kupwara, Baramulla, Ananthnag etc department will continue this exercise to stop black marketing.
