Baramulla: Hard work paid off as another star from Kashmir made it to the second most expensive league in the world the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Auqib Nabi Dar, son of a senior teacher Ghulam Nabi Dar from Sheeri Baramulla, has been selected as a net bowler for Sunrise Hyderabad in IPL 2023.
The right-arm pacer was among the best all-rounders in the valley and has already made his mark with his performance in the sports field by the bat and with the ball.
As per sports officials, he has played on different platforms including Ranji.
Known as Hardik Pandya Auqib made the entire district of Baramulla, particularly Sheeri Narvaw jubilant over this feat.
The Baramulla-born cricketer will bowl to SHR players in the nets and will learn from some of the best minds in the game.
