Batmaloo Gunfight : Injured CRPF officer out of danger : PRO

SRINAGAR, Sep 17: The injured Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) office is out of danger and is stable officials told Kashmir Despatch.

While talking with Kashmir Despatch PRO CRPF Pankaj Singh termed the report regarding the death of officer baseless and said he is undergoing treatment and is alive.

He said the injured officer is out of danger.

Earleir in the initial gunfight at Batmaloo area of Srinagar CRPF deputy commandant Rahul Sharma was injured and was rushed to MI hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

Pertinent to mention here that three militants were killed in the gunfight whose Identification is yet to be ascertained.

A 45-year-old woman Identified as Kausar Reyaz was also killed in a cross firing.
