Bear captured alive in Bandipora’s Aragam

Bandipora, Nov 29 : A bear was captured alive after a trap was laid in Aragam village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday evening.

An official said that the trap was laid by the officials of wildlife department in the orchard of one Ghulam Mohiuddin Bhat son of Late Mohammad Bhat.

He said that as the bear passed by the area he got tapped in it.

“The bear was on prowl in the area for some time, now the villagers have heaved a sigh of relief after it was captured alive,” the official said.
