Srinagar, March 12: Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), Jammu & Kashmir, organized a Free Distribution Camp at Hajibagh HMT to assist underprivileged and needy individuals in the area. The initiative aimed to provide essential items, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to social welfare and community service.
Alongside the distribution camp, BVP J&K conducted a Plantation Drive at the Government School in Hajibagh, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation. The drive encouraged students to actively participate in afforestation efforts, fostering awareness about the need for a greener and healthier environment.
As a part of their social outreach, BVP also distributed clothing among school students, a gesture warmly appreciated by the school administration and the local community. The initiative was lauded for its focus on education, well-being, and environmental responsibility.
The local residents and beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to BVP J&K for their thoughtful initiative and commitment to uplifting society through meaningful contributions.
The programme was conducted in the presence of President Javaid Khan, Women President Saiqa Manzoor, Treasurer Javaid Najar and other members of the notional body in which Dev Raj Sharma (National convener), Shiv Ram Sharma (General Secretary J&K Prant), Prof Bharat Bhushan (Regional Secretary Seva), Gurmeet Singh (convener J&k Prant).
