With the addition of three new Amrit Bharat Express trains, the total number of such trains will increase to 15, with 13 operating from Bihar. This is a significant gift for the people of Bihar from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Keeping public needs in mind, Rail Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary will flag off passenger trains from Patna-Buxar, Jhajha-Danapur, Patna-Islampur, and Shekhpura-Barbigha to run from Nawada to Patna. The Patna-Islampur and Nawada-Patna passenger trains will operate via the new Jat Dumri-Fazilchak-Top Sarathua-Dhaniyawan line, providing train facilities to people in this region as well.
In this event, Bihar will receive another important gift. The Rail Minister and Deputy CM will inaugurate three Amrit Bharat Express trains: from Muzaffarpur to Chirlapalli near Hyderabad, from Darbhanga to Madar Junction near Ajmer, and from Chapra to Anand Vihar Terminal.
The Muzaffarpur-Chirlapalli Amrit Bharat Express will be the first Amrit Bharat train from Bihar to South India, while the Chapra-Anand Vihar Express will be Bihar’s sixth Amrit Bharat train to Delhi.

They will connect Bihar with various parts of the country, especially North and South India, improving connectivity. Their operation will boost economic activity in the state and create new opportunities in tourism, trade, and employment.
