Srinagar, June 30: Two militants has been killed and in an ongoing operation in Waghama area of Bijbhera in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that in an ongoing firefight Two unidentified militant has been killed so far.
Earlier reports reaching this newspaper said, a joint team of Army’s 03 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Waghama.
As the joint team encircled the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them. The fire was retaliated by the joint team, triggering off an encounter.
