All the eyes were glued to the television and mobile screens today as the most anticipated election result were to be announced in the country. Even from days before people were meticulously following the exit poll predictions.
The speculations of Samajwadi wave in Uttar Pradesh might have gained a considerable momentum in the early phases of election but the actual tables started to turn over when numerous independent exit polls showed BJP winning with full majority.
All the tactics and policies of opposition parties seemed to have been a manifest hogwash before the landslide of BJP. People once again entrusted Yogi Adityanath for leading the state which implies that BJP’s rule has been somehow exceptional in UP.
The prime thing being that all stalwart leaders of this party have never been associated with corruption while the records of leaders from the opposition parties have been often tainted with such charges.
Moreover, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa also showed that BJP wave still dominates the other parts of the country and doesn’t confine to traditional hindi speaking belt only. This win has ultimately bolstered BJP’s cadres across all the states including J&K.
The deplorable performance of Congress in UP & Punjab speaks volumes about the immense lack of coordination and ill-effects of the Gandhi family dominance. The Congress must focus on introducing actual democratization in it own party first before trying to champion the same values before the people.
However, AAP has excelled immensely and deserves accolades for such a gigantic win. The exponential growth of Aam Aadmi Party within few years exhibits its potential to grown into a national level party which may even replace INC in the future.
The winning of BJP and AAP will ultimately effect the other states that have to undergo elections at the end of this year. As far as the political stir is concerned, J&K will also witness an unexpected electoral results that may surprise some while shock others.
