BJP perpetrate ‘disrespect’ to constitution while abolishing Article 370: Begum Khalida Shah

Srinagar, Oct 08 : Awami National Conference (ANC) President Begum Khalida Shah on Thursday said that Modi led BJP Government perpetrated “disrespect” to the constitution of country while abolishing Article 370 and 35(A) and alleged it damaged the old age secular fabric of country by anti-people policies.
According to statement issued to Kashmir Despatch, Begum Khalida termed the abrogation of Article 370 by BJP Government “disrespect” to the constitution of country. She said Modi led BJP Government damaged the secular fabric of country by their anti-people moves and policies.
“By scrapping the special status of Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 and 35(A), BJP led Government at centre deprived people of the region from constitutional and legal liberty”, ANC President said.
She added the present dispensation in New Delhi has made the entire country its slave and divided people into bits by using colonial methods.
