Srinagar, August 11: Amid militant threat, another BJP leader from North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday resigned from the party.
Sources informed Kashmir Despatch that BJP Spokesperson Gulmarg constituency Syed Maqbool Razvi annouced his resignation from the saffron party on Tuesday morning.
Razvi in a letter which lies with Kashmir Despatch reads, I Syed Maqbool Razvi was working as a Spokesperson BJP for Gulmarg Constituency, now “I have no affiliation with any political party,”.
Pertinently, four workers from Ganderbal announced their resignation from the party today including Mushtaq Ahmad Khan District president OBC Morcha Gabderbal, Faroz Ahmad Malla District Vice President, Mudasir Ahmad Najar and Mohammad Sadiq Tiploo District Secretary Ganderbal.
Earlier, dozens of BJP activists from north, south and central Kashmir have dissociated themselves from the party, after militants started attacking the party workers.
