Pattan, February 26: A youth convention of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was today held at Baliheran, Singhpora Pattan in North Kashmir Baramulla district.
National youth president of the party, Engineer Aijaz Hussain Rather headed the convention in which dozens of youth including women coming into the fold of the BJP.
Rather stressed that more youth and women should come forward and join the BJP as this is the only party with a long term solution for the problems of people here in Kashmir reads a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch.
Statement further reads the youth showed eagerness to join the party and said that they have been draw towards it because the BJP has been doing some good work in Kahsmir.
Er Aijaz assured that BJP is committed for welfare of common Kashmiri and the Slogan of Sab Ka saath, Sab Ka Vikas,Sab Ka Vishwas will be implemented in true spirit and enthusiasm in Kashmir statement further reads.
