Body of Kashmiri man retrieved from Budhal nallah

Rajouri, Mar 08 : Police on Sunday retrieved a body under mysterious conditions from a nallah in Budhal area of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.

A police officer said that the male body aged about 50 years old was spotted by some locals and informed about it.

Soon after being informed, the officer said that a police team from the police station concerned reached the spot at Gabbar nallah and retrieved the body.

He said that a case under 174 CrPc has been registered and further investigations have been initiated to ascertain the cause of drowning.

Sources identified the deceased as Ghulam Nabi Khanda son of Mohammad Abdullah, a resident of Shopian district in South Kashmir.
