Body of man, missing since March 28, recovered from Jhelum in Sopore

Sopore, Apr 20 : Body of man, who was missing since Marcg 28, was recovered from river Jhelum in Sopore area of Baramulla district on Saturday morning, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the man was missing from his home in Mapanpora area.

He said that his body was seen floating in Jhelum, following which locals informed the police.

“The body was later recovered by a police team and was shifted a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities,” he said.

He has been identified as Mohammad Maqbool Mir (70) of Mapanpora Sopore—(KNO)
