Body of teenage girl fished out from river Jhelum in Baramulla after 26 days

Baramulla : Twenty six days after jumping into River Jhelum at Khanpora bridge in north Kashmir’s Baramulla area, body of teenage girl was retrieved on Thursday evening, officials said here.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that Baramulla police along with locals recovered dead body of girl near Veerwan area today evening.

Meanwhile, a police officer told Kashmir Despatch that body will be handed over to family after completing legal formalities
