Boniyar : Boniyar Sports Fest 2023 was conducted by the Army and held on 03 – 05 June 2023 in Chinar Naujawan Club in Boniyar Tehsil, Baramulla district.
In a bid to motivate the locals towards a healthier lifestyle, the Army decided to organise a three-day sports festival in Chinar Naujawan Club, Boniyar Tehsil.
The sports festival was planned to be held with a view to provide a platform for the students to showcase their talent. Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket and Khokho matches were scheduled between the teams of the schools of Boniyar Tehsil.
All the participants of the Sports Fest were awarded with gifts and certificates by the Army. SHO Boniyar, Kubra Nazir and BDO Boniyar, Naveen Altaf were also invited to witness the event.
The locals of Boniyar expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Army for conducting such events in the area.
