‘Bring our people back home JD(U) urge Centre after Russia attacks Ukraine

 Srinagar February 25 : JD(U) party president G.M.shaheen  has urged the Union Government of India to take up necessary steps for ensuring the safe evacuation of all students hailing from Jammu and Kashmir who are stranded in Ukraine and Russia region.

Shaheen  has demanded the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure the safety of the students hailing from Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that the parents of these young students are reasonably worried and given the suspension of flight operations, students are pushed into complete uncertainty.

Shaheen  urged the central government to arrange for special aircraft to bring the students home.

Shaheen  made an appeal to Foreign Minister S Jaishankar on the plight of students from the state stranded in Ukraine

Urging the Union Minister of External Affairs of the Government of India to intervene with the Government of Ukraine and Russia to assist these students, shaheen  hoped for a safe and early return of students”.
