BSF detects underground tunnel in Samba

Jammu, May 03 : The Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday detected 150 meters long underground tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district.

An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a tunnel was detected at Chak Faquira in Samba district.

“A tunnel checking exercise was carried out in the AOR of BOP Chak Faquira of 48 Bn BSF.

During the checking exercise,a small opening found in general area near fencing in Samba area was suspected to be tunnel,”

However, BSF officials told that due to darkness further search could not be carried out.

Detailed search will be carried out early in morning at first light, it sad—(KNO)
