BSF Sub-Inspector Injured In Pakistani Shelling In Mankote Sector

Poonch, May 6 : An officer of Border Security Force (BSF) was injured on Monday in Pakistani shelling in Mankote sector of Poonch district.

Official sources told GNS that the BSF officer Sub-Inspector Gokul Anand Ojha of 168 bn received splinter injuries at Neelam Post along the LoC in Mankote sector today in the afternoon after Pakistani army targeted Indian posts.

SDPO Mendhar Neeraj Padiyar while confirming it said that the injured BSF officer was taken to a military hospital for treatment.

He said that the condition of the injured officer is said to be stable.

Earlier today, the armies of India and Pakistan exchanged shelling in Krishna Ghati sector. (GNS)
