Police in north Kashmir’s Sopore on Wednesday evening claimed to have arrested a burglar are recovered stolen items from his procession.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch which reads, police Station Bomai recieved a complaint from one Muhammad Sultan Dar son of Abdul Khaliq Dar Resident of Hardu Shiva stating therein that at about 1600 hours some unknown burglars entered his home, and looted jewelry worth lacs.
Upon this information, a case FIR number 65/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Bomai.
During the course of investigation, many suspects were called to Police Station for questioning, one among them namely Saqib Lateef Sofi Resident of Sempora disclosed about the stolen property that lead to recovery of jewelry worth lacs. The investigation of the instant case is still going on and more recoveries and arrests are expected.
