Burglar held in Kashmir’s Varmul

Baramulla May 11: Police on Monday claimed to have a thief who made an attempt to break an ATM machine at old hospital Baramulla in north Kashmir.

Police in a statement said that an attempt was made by a burkha clad man at old hospital Baramulla to break the ATM machine and stole the cash but with timely action of concerned Police Station the accused involved, a burkha clad Man was apprehended at the spot who later taken to Police custody.


Police identified the arrested Man as Umar Mohiuddin Najar S/o Gh Mohiuddin Najar R/o Bagi Islam Baramulla.

Police statement further said a case FIR No 50/2029 has been registered at Baramulla and initiated further investigation.
