Burglars loot Jamia Masjid at Ganderbal villages, decamped with cash

Ganderbal, Oct 23: In a shocking news, a group of thieves on Thursday night looted the cash from the chest of Jamia masjid in Tulmulla area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said, a group of unknown persons on Thursday night striked Jamia masjid and looted cash which has created resentment among local population.
“We are really concerned over such incidents and demand stern punishment for the culprits,” said a local adding that all the cash kept in the donation box has been stolen.
A police official told Kashmir Despatch that they are ascertaining the facts.
