CAPACITY BUILDING TOUR (CBT) TO MUMBAI, GOA & BACK

Srinagar (Bandipora), 16 November 19 In an initiative undertaken by Army a
Capacity Building Tour comprising of 25 local youth of Bandipora and Baramulla Districts was flagged off by Commander Watlab Sector today from Army Camp Paribal Tekri The excursion left from Paribal Tekri for onward journey to Jammu Mumbai Goa Hazrat Nizamuddin Delhi and back

The purpose of the tour is to facilitate positive interaction of the youth hailing from Bandipora and Baramulla Districts with other countrymen acquaint them with the rich Socio-cultural heritage of our Country, there by assisting in widening their outlook and integrating them with the National mainstream.

During the tour amongst other places, the youth will get an opportunity to visit
Gateway of India Haji Ali Dargah and Film City at Mumbai and Agoda Fort and Baga Beach at Goa They will also go to Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah and National War Memorial in Delhi The tour will also extend once in a lifetime opportunity to interact with Hon’ble Governor of Goa and senior Army officials

During the flag-off, Mr Jahangir (Sarpanch of Watlab village) thanked the Army and said that this was once in a lifetime opportunity afforded by the Army and shall go a long way to educate the youth and provide them with correct perspective By the end of the tour the participants would have gained a wealth of experience and multifaceted exposure, thus aiding in the overall capacity building and in turn it shall assist in bringing peacedevelopment and prosperity in the region.
