Capacity Building Tour to Charar-E-Sharief

Srinagar November 05: In an endeavour to provide an opportunity and a much needed break and refresh minds admist the COVID-19 pandemic, 5 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion (JAT) organised a Capacity Building tour for 25 students (Girls) of Ganderbal district to the holy ‘Charar-e-Sharief’ shrine, Budgam on 05 Nov 2020. The students beaming with excitement entered the holy shrine of Sheikh ‘Noor-ud-in’ to spend some quality time in the shrine and also seeked blessings of the revered Saint.

During the tour students interacted with each other. The tour provided the students with refreshing break and insight to the vast opportunities that exist for a bright future and would go a long way in moulding their minds & souls towards importance of peace, harmony and development.The students were in jubilant mood on reaching back home and were eager to share their cherished experiences with their parents who were present on the occasion.

The parents and teachers accompanying the student expressed their gratitude to the Army for providing their wards with a once in a lifetime opportunity to widen their horizons.They also requested for such efforts to be regularly carried out.
