Srinagar, July 1, 2025 – The Kashmir CPE Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) celebrated the 77th Chartered Accountants Day with great enthusiasm at the ICAI Srinagar Representative Office.
The event commenced with a flag hoisting ceremony, followed by a plantation drive symbolizing growth and sustainability.
A special highlight of the program was a celebration meet of members, during which CA Bashir Ahmad Lone addressed the audience. In his address, he spoke about the evolving role of Chartered Accountants and the importance of upholding professional ethics and contributing meaningfully to society. Many other members also shared their thoughts and experiences about the profession, reflecting on its challenges and opportunities.
CA Khateeb Yousuf, Convenor of the Kashmir CPE Chapter, delivered a warm welcome address, setting the tone for the day’s proceedings. The event concluded with a vote of thanks presented by CA Mujtaba Joo, Deputy Convenor of the Kashmir CPE Chapter.
The smooth execution of the event was ensured by Mr. Mueed Latif, Officer In-charge of the Srinagar Representative Office.
